It was just this morning that I decided to put on a formal pair of winter boots and needed a warm fine pair of socks with a little difference.  These eco socks are a little steep on the price but they are definitely worth the buck - warm and stylish.  The cute trimming on the top gives character to your style for the day.  Dear Santa , Please can you put a pair in my stocking?  Adore. adore, adore ... by Lowie  (Picture source: Lowie)

I have just read some news about an award winning eco brand collaborating with the UK Met Office today.  It really inspires me when I here about alternative collaborations - two organisations working to combat climate change but in very different ways can work together to spread good news and teach people about adapting to new ways of life.  More of this please!  Check out their Blog  (Picture source: Rapanui)

Neon evening sports wear is rocking the party scene and inspiring textile designers.  I came across this Strongbow advert and was blown away by the surfers wearing neon wet suits and carrying boards lit up as they surfed.  There is definitely room for evening neon lit beach wear - perhaps solar would be the perfect energy to harness for this.

Today I opened my emails to read about Levi's very impressive campaign telling its customers "Dirty is the new clean".  It's amazing how a little humour in a campaign can bring a message home.  Through water foot printing research Levi's found that an average pairs of their jeans uses 6000 odd litres of water in its lifetime.  Incredible!  With droughts and water scarcity, we just have to cut that down... so one of the messages of Levi's is... don't wash em' as much.  We adore this campaign Levi's.  P.S. The talking buffalo is the icing on the cake.  Makes me want to go out an buy a pair of Levi's!

This picture has really inspired me today - stunning.  Doing research on some alternative eco textiles, I came across this lovely fabric.  Fabulous eco credentials and made from pineapple of all things!
